A good grinder (or almost any grinder) is a good investment in coffee. The grinders main job is to destroy the cellulose walls and membranes that guard coffees volatile flavour components. This exposure allows for extraction however it significantly increases oxidation. Please buy a grinder and grind just before brewing. We may have an upcoming promotion that will showcase the importance of grinders for healthier and more flavourful cups.

The first deliveries of Zero Footprint Coffee start on December 15, 2021.

Blends often hide the origins. Zero Footprint celebrates them. Blends will include 50% Honduras Cafe Solar while the supplies last. The other amazing 50% will be made with certified specialty graded coffees. The certified coffees stocks are always changing and will include origins such as; Ethiopia, Uganda, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Colombia, Papua New Guinea, Sumatra.

100% of all coffee beans are traceable or we can't calculate and offset the footprint. 90% of all bean sourced are double certified, typically organic and fair trade. However, double certifications bodies do not exist in all producing countries and we are not closed to supporting other innovative and transparent certifications. All coffees used are detailed on the back label of every bag.

Making coffee is a process of extraction and it has emissions we don’t see. In order to make coffee carbon neutral we generate sequestration credits with new trees. Cafe Solar®’s forest-restoring coffee supply generate these credits through reforestation right beside the coffee farms. By purchasing them in this fee, you are making your order’s footprint zero and helping the land where coffee grows.

Professional coffee roasters. Merchants of Green Coffee has the experience and relationships with North American coffee roasters. Zero Footprint Coffee is set up to contract local and regional roasters for fulfillment. Consumers serviced by local and regional roasters linked to coffee growers is the ideal financial model with the lowest footprint and highest quality for delivery.

There are no returns as coffee is a perishable food product. We do allow for a cancellations if you are unhappy with the quality of the product. We only use the highest quality grade in all blends and coffees are shipped directly from roaster within a day of being roasted.

Zero Footprint Coffee will track your package and if required send out another package as quickly as we can.

All orders are processed online to limit errors. When we make errors we will attempt to correct it a quickly as we can.  it. However, we expect few errors as we are purposefully operating a streamlined order process and selection to limit the potential errors in customization and delivery.

Zero Footprint Coffee will suggest a different roast degree or direct you to an upcoming customized program later in 2022. Coffee is a personal taste. We understand this.
